Biography

Jakob is a multi-award-winning artist who began his Tattoo career in 2011 at Ol’Skool Tattoo in Kansas City, Missouri. Shortly after, he moved to work under the mentorship of Bj Nigh at Big O Tattoo in Lincoln, Nebraska. A couple of years later, he decided it was time to move back to Kansas City, Missouri, to be closer to family. In 2015, he met his future wife, and in 2017, they decided to open their own studio, Landlocked Tattoo and Body Piercing. Although he can do all styles of tattooing, he specializes in traditional and Asian-inspired tattoos. He strives for his tattoos to be bold, clean, and timeless. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing soccer, playing hockey, and bouldering.
